Learn to Roll Your Kayak Calling Rupert kayakers! Let's learn and practice rolling! If you have never had formal instruction, it is way more effective to learn from a person than from videos. Come out for a small group session with some one-on-one help, too. Bring your playboat, touring kayak or decked rec boat and play with some new friends! The session will review T-rescues then move on to rolling techniques. Basic kayaking skills are pre-requisite, including comfort with wet exits and a willingness to be underwater in the ocean. We are going to be in and out for a few hours with a fire on the beach, so that people can warm up if needed, but immersion gear is essential. (Wetsuits available for rent if needed). Date: Wednesday, August 2, 2017 Time: 6-9pm Location: To be confirmed Cost: $50 per person Equipment: BYOBoat, paddle, PFD (+ paddle float, tow line, pump for sea kayaks) *If you do not have a PFD, wetsuit or drysuit, contact us about renting them (PFD $20, wetsuit $30) Enroll and pay online here: https://clients.mindbodyonline.com/classic/ws?studioid=248443&stype=-7&sView=day&sLoc=0&date=08/02/17 Or call 250-622-2029 or message us on Facebook
